The lowdown:

As a freshman, Itzel was second on the team with eight goals and 18 points. She had two multi-goal games this year, but most notably against Kofa in the second matchup between the two schools. Itzel helped Cibola win the Desert Southwest region title and reach 6A’s state play-in round.
