Travel restricted on May Avenue on Mon.

Traffic restrictions will be in place at May Avenue and 5th Street on Monday, according to the Yuma County Water Users Association.

A work crew will be pruning or removing trees in the area that obstruct power lines.

A stretch of the southbound lane of May Avenue at the intersection is scheduled to be closed from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. while the work takes place.

Travel will proceed on May in alternating oneway directions during the course of the work.
