Scouts invited, honored by Elks in Flag Day observance

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge No. 476 on Saturday invited Boys Scout Troop 8051 to participate in an early observation of Flag Day ceremony for the community. During the ceremony, Scouts each carried in a flag recognized throughout the development of the nation. Immediately following the ceremony, Elks Lodge officials honored several of the troop’s Eagle Scouts for their hard work and dedication in earning the prestigious rank.
