CITY’S PAVEMENT PRESERVATION TO TARGET STREETS, CENTRAL NEIGHBORHOODS

THE CITY OF continues its commitment to improving the overall condition of its streets with another round of sealant work in the City’s pavement preservation program slated to begin March 15.

The City will supervise the application of approximately 21 miles of slurry seal, 3 miles of chip seal and 5 miles of oil sealant in this round.

Crews will focus primarily on certain specific neighborhoods in central areas of the city limits between 8th Street and 32nd Street and from Avenue C to Avenue A. Affected busier streets include Arizona Avenue, Avenue A, Avenue B, Magnolia Avenue, 4th Avenue, 24th Street

(in both eastern and western sections), 32nd Street, Avenue 8E, and Gila Ridge Road.
