IN-PERSON EVENTS - COMING SOON!

By Kimberly Kahl, Executive Director, Yuma County Chamber of Commerce

IAM EXCITED TO announce the Chamber will be returning to in-person events in a matter of weeks! It has been so long. I’ve been on board now over six months and still haven’t met so many members. I’m looking forward to seeing you all.

We will begin with The Amazing Race Yuma County on Friday, June 18 and then will resume with an in-person Good Morning Yuma on Thursday, July 8 and an in-person mixer at the Yuma International Airport on Wednesday, July 28.

That will launch our return to our monthly in-person events. In addition, we are planning for a return of the MegaMixer and Expo on Friday, September 10 and Saturday, September 11.

Things will look a little different. Many locations are still requiring masks and limiting attendance and we will continue to comply with any restrictions our venues require. In addition, and this is very important, pre-registration will be required for all in-person events. There will be no registration at the door. We don’t want to turn anyone away so please be sure to register in advance at www.yumachamber.org. If you’re unsure how, feel free to call our office at 928-782-2567 and we will help you. Full details on registration deadlines and costs for each event will be clearly posted on the events page on www.yumachamber.org. You can also stay up-to-date on our upcoming events by following our Facebook page at www. facebook.com/YumaCountyChamberofCommerce.

Until we get to those, I hope you will continue to join us for our virtual events including our Good Morning Yuma on Facebook Live on Thursday, May 13 and on Thursday, June 10, our virtual mixer being held on Wednesday, May 26, and our lunch and learn on Board Service 101 on Thursday,

May 27.
