The lowdown:

Thomas helped Cibola remain the top boys cross country team in town. He ended his season with his best showing, as his time of 17:55 at the Division I state meet was the third-fastest of any local state participant. His season also included a 5-kilometer PR of 17:46 at Nike Desert Twilight, a ninth-place finish at districts and a 52nd-place finish at sectionals.
