The lowdown:

Nathan consistently proved he was one of the top-five boys runners in the area. He set a 5-kilometer PR of 17:08 at Nike Desert Twilight, which ranked thirdbest among all local runners. He also turned in a fourth-place showing at districts. At sectionals, he just missed out on qualifying for the Division I state meet by coming in 33rd place.
