The lowdown:

Jesus was the only Gila Ridge boys runner to qualify for the Division II state meet, where he finished 104th overall. His season also included a second-place finish at districts, a 24th-place finish at sectionals and a 5-kilometer PR of 17:09 at Nike Desert Twilight.
