The lowdown:

As only a freshman, Isabella emerged as the No. 2 runner for the Cibola Raiders, who were once again the best girls team in town. And she actually finished the season as Cibola’s highest-placer at the Division I state meet, coming in 61st overall. Her season also included top-three finishes at the West Wetlands Invite (2nd) and districts (3rd), a 22nd-place finish at sectionals, and a 5-kilometer PR of 20:54 set at NXR Southwest Regionals.
