Areas We Serve FCE offers informal, adult education in a variety of topics: women’s health, basic cooking skills, reading labels on foods, health for women & men. Leadership training is also available. This includes how to run a meeting, people skills, issue analysis, leadership styles, and more. Lastly, we do community projects. Most recently we provided CHARACTER COUNTS! for 2-4 grades at several elementary schools in Yuma Co. We can also provide training to teachers, parents, and other adults. Fundraising Our only fundraiser is our FCE Annual Community Bazaar. Vendors rent the tables and shoppers pay no admission fee. Currently, we are nearly sold out for tables. All items are handmade/homemade. This is our 49th year. Membership Membership is open to everyone--men and women. New members will get their National dues paid for the one year. Membership in FCE includes information and membership about our international organization: Associated Country Women of the World (ACWW) housed in London, England. There are over 8 million members worldwide. National FCE is one of the few that allows men. FCE members help fund projects. Currently we are working on the Zero Hunger Project. That project requires money and people will to work to help raise funds and/or donate funds. National Conference National FCE Conference is coming up July 18-21 in St. Louis, MO. All registration, hotel, and conference information is on the national website. Next year the conference will be held in Portland, OR. Being a current member gives you a reduced rate at the conf. There will general sessions, business meeting, breakout sessions, meals, and awards.
