Grants and Scholarships

Last year, ACF of Yuma awarded over $453,000 in grants and scholarships through the competitive grants process into the Yuma community.

How we work with nonprofits

Since 1993, ACF of Yuma has awarded funding to organizations in Yuma County. Nonprofits benefit from a relationship with the Arizona Community Foundation of Yuma in many ways, particularly through grant application workshops, educational seminars, and training courses for board members and staff. Initiatives

Yuma Veterans Fund: As our brave military members return home from active duty and the front lines of battle, their physical, psychological and financial needs warrant a strong response from the philanthropic sector and the community. As a permanent endowment, the Yuma Veterans Fund will exist in perpetuity, with grants made annually to organizations that serve military Veterans.

Events

Cash for College: Every year, ACF of Yuma invites local students, their families, and educators to learn more about post-secondary scholarships and vocational training at the Cash for College Scholarship Awareness Night. Staff from ACF of Yuma and other local scholarship providers are available during the event to answer questions and share information. Heart of Yuma: This awards ceremony recognizes the outstanding service of local nonprofit organizations and volunteers in the Yuma community.
