Amberly's Place
Our Mission Statement
Amberly's Place houses professionals who are specially trained in dealing with victims of child abuse (both physical and sexual), domestic violence, sexual assault and elder abuse. This special training helps to reduce the trauma to the victim. We accomplish this by promoting a working atmosphere of mutual respect and open communication between the professionals providing the services. Referrals to Amberly's Place come from community service providers, Department of Child Safety, law enforcement and individuals who wish to self report. Since opening our doors we have help over 44,000 victims on their journey from victim to survivor.
Areas We Serve
The Yuma Family Advocacy Coalition established Amberly's Place in 1999 to provide an innovative, multidisciplinary approach to the investigation, prosecution and intervention of cases of child sexual and/or physical abuse, domestic violence, elder abuse and sexual assault. Amberly's Place is open to all law enforcement agencies operating within Yuma County and benefits all victims of abuse.
Fundraising Events
Some of our fundraising events are Week In Paradise, Pinwheels For A Cause, Paint The Town Purple, Million Dollar Shootout and Amberly's Dream Gala.
