Carolina, a back-to-back winner of this award, absolutely dominated the competition en route to her second straight AIA girls wrestling state title. Wrestling at 125 pounds, Carolina won all four of her state matches via fall or tech fall. She also pinned all four her opponents at the Division I Section VIII tournament. Carolina finished the season with a perfect 27-0 record.
