The lowdown: Abraham, who was the 6A Desert Southwest Region Player of the Year, played a huge role in Cibola’s success this season. Abraham tallied 111 total tackles — 21 of which were for losses — to go along with 9.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and one pick-six. He also blocked a field goal. Abraham’s contributions in the middle of the defense helped Cibola upset Gila Ridge in the season finale. Coach Steven Fritz: “Abraham is a tremendous player who would do whatever his team needed. He was his best in the biggest moments. Abraham, with the help of his teammates, was a huge reason why we only gave up 605 rushing yards in 10 games.”
