Renan was the area’s leading rusher, carrying 243 times for 1,499 yards and 15 touchdowns in 13 games. He rushed for over 100 yards seven times, including a season-high of

303 yards against Youngker. He helped Gila Ridge reach the 4A semifinals, rushing for 144 yards in a first-round win over Coconino and 90 yards in a quarterfinals win over Sahuaro.
