The lowdown:

Alex was one of the few bright spots for the Yuma High offense this season. He posted 33 catches for 535 yards and four touchdowns. Alex surpassed the 100-yard receiving mark twice in 2019. His best outing came against Youngker, when he finished with seven catches for 146 yards.

Coach Curt Weber:

“Alex Mosqueda is a ‘receiver’s receiver.’ He makes the difficult catch look easy. His route running is excellent and his best receiving skill is high pointing the ball. The latter requires excellent vertical jumping ability, which Alex has. In a great tribute to him, he was double covered constantly.”
