Jordan Stevens

Gila Ridge sophomore forward

The lowdown:

Jordan averaged 12.6 points per game and tallied 14 double-figure scoring performances to go along with eight double-doubles. He also was force on the glass, averaging a team-high 8.3 rebounds per game. Jordan’s best regular-season performance came on the road at Cibola. The 6-foot-3 forward dominated from start to finish as he collected 26 points and 16 rebounds in a three-point victory. In the postseason, Jordan carried the Hawks in a 4A play-in win over Cactus, finishing with 23 points and 10 rebounds.

Coach Joe Daily:

“Jordan Stevens will arguably be one of the best Hawks to ever wear the jersey by the end of his career. The reason why is all the weapons this kid has. His best game is banging underneath the hoop. Lately, he has found his shot on the outside, making him a very dangerous player. He is a hard worker and the kid can just flat out play.”
