The lowdown:

Janelle was part of a deep and talented Cibola girls team that was once again the best in town. She ran her three fastest 5-kilometer times in the final three meets of the season, including a personal-best of 22:03 at districts, where she finished seventh. She ended her season with a 36th-place finish at sectionals followed by a 104th-place finish at the Division I state meet.
