Ali Schmunk

Yuma Catholic senior S/OH

The lowdown:

The University of Hawaii golf signee also displayed her multi-sport talents in volleyball this fall. Ali had 128 kills this season and led the Yuma area with 284 assists and 57 aces. Ali’s talents helped the YC volleyball team win three more games than the 2018 season and qualify for the postseason for the first time since 2016. Ali also finished with 243 digs and 13 blocks in her final season as a Shamrock.

Coach Dusti Williamson:

“Ali Schmunk is what every coach would want for their program; a captain that can set, hit, dig and serve consistently strong for the team. Her mental toughness helped our team stay locked in and focused during sets. Ali’s go get it attitude pushed herself physically and became a prime example to other players what standard was expected on the court.”
