The lowdown:

Tinley played a large role for the Gila Ridge volleyball team in 2019. Tinley was second on the team with 145 kills, but led the Hawks with 50 aces. Her 242 assists also were first on the team. She also finished her junior season with 140 digs and 10 blocks.

Coach Tricia Ellsworth:

“Tinley was one of our setters even though this is not her normal playing position. She gave 100% effort and became a real team leader. Tinley is an amazing athlete. She is extremely coachable and responds to her coaches and teammates in a very positive and supportive way. She has a ton of power, but also has superior court knowledge and can play a ball where the defense is weakest.”
